Jews For Life has a motto: ignorance is costly; wisdom is priceless.
Therefore, before anyone gets the wrong idea, let me go on record as saying at the outset: I decry and condemn the murder of all human beings, and living organisms. Even abortionists. And no, I wont refer to abortionists as doctors, because doctors are healers and I certainly don't think abortion heals anyone.
Moreover, should anyone suggest that because I am a pro-lifer I must get a thrill whenever an abortionist is murdered, please read the above paragraph until it is memorized. Thanks. Now we can continue.
Does the name Byron Looper ring a bell? I didn't think so. (More on him later.)
No doubt the name James Kopp not only rings a bell, the sounding of the name probably peals away at your conscience, and patience. "Atomic Dog," (as Kopp is known) is the man who allegedly murdered abortionist Barnett Slepian capital murder. Our recently neutered Attorney General John Ashcroft will see to that.
The investigation spanned two continents. The FBI assigned James Kopp to their Top 10 Most Wanted List. Law enforcement agencies here in New York, and in France, vigorously combined their efforts to find Slepian's killer.
Good. That is as it should be. The last thing we pro-lifers need is a violent man seeking to destroy our peaceful life-affirming message by plotting homicides.
However, lately there are curious differences in the manner in which homicides are handled. It seems to depend on who is getting killed, and who is doing the killing.
"We applaud all of the law enforcement agencies that worked together, in New York State, in the U.S. Department of Justice, and the U.S. Attorney General's office, and those in France to apprehend this individual," said Planned Parenthood President Gloria Feldt after Kopp was captured in France.
There are thousands of homicides. Many monsters walk the street, some with much more grisly track records than James Kopp. When was the last time you've seen such an exhaustive investigation of this magnitude?
You haven't. It only occurs when the monster kills an abortionist.
There are thousands of homicides. Many of the victims are innocent children who are kidnapped, starved, beaten, tortured, and G-d knows what else. Often these crimes involve serial killers, who have been on the lam for years. When was the last time you've seen such an exhaustive investigation of this magnitude?
You haven't. It only occurs when the victim is an abortionist.
When abortionists commit horrific crimes, you never find out about it, unless you know where to look. The proof is out there, adroitly concealed.
That is why most people don't know the stories kept hidden by our media. Here's one from our invisible past: Way back in 1988, a man went berserk and was convicted of a violent, vicious crime in which he took a bat and severely beat and battered a peaceful pro-life protester.
Who was the offender? Why, none other than the abortionist Barnett Slepian who was murdered two years ago.
What? How can that be? The newspapers say Slepian was a gentle, religious man!
Yes, that's what they say; that's what the mainstream media wants you to believe. Here is what Paul Likoudis said in an article entitled "Buffalo Abortionist Arrested on Sex-Abuse Charges," in The Wanderer, on January 5, 1988 on page 1:
"On December 5, 1988, Buffalo abortionist Barnett Slepian went wild when several pro-lifers sang Christmas carols outside his home on a public sidewalk. Slepian grabbed a baseball bat and severely injured Ronald Breymeier, 48, by beating him on the head, back, and arms, before smashing out all of the windows on Breymeier's van. Slepian surrendered to Town of Amherst police at his home a short time afterwards, and was charged with felony assault and criminal mischief. Local pro-abortionists vocally supported this incredibly violent attack. Abortion mill owner Marilynn Buckham told the Buffalo News "I think it's [picketing] religious persecution. These `good Christians' don't respect anyone else's religion." At Slepian's `trial,' Amherst Town Justice Sherwood Bestry said to him, "The Court feels you have suffered a great deal on account of this." Following this mock `trial,' the Amherst Town Board immediately banned the picketing of homes by pro-lifers."
Lest you think this is a made up story in some tiny local publication nobody's heard of, it was also reported in the Associated Press, on December 6 and 7, 1988, right after the incident occurred.
However, I did not obtain this story from either source above. On the Web, there is one important site that thoroughly documents abortion violence against pro-life victims, that goes unreported everywhere else. Human Life International publishes an on-line directory of - get this - 911 INCIDENTS OF PRO-ABORTION VIOLENCE AND CRIME IN THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA. Pro-aborts love to cite stories of bombings and murders, yet much of the time, that's what they are -- stories. Often, they do not substantiate their accusations with sources. For every crime listed on Human Life International's directory, there is a prominent media source to verify that

Visitors will find displayed for their reading displeasure an extensive list of serious felonies and conspiracies committed by abortionists, pro-abortion protesters and sympathizers, throughout the United States and Canada. Some of the charges include: murder, manslaughter, torture, kidnapping, rape, stalking, sex crimes, drug crimes, property crimes, medical crimes and fraud. Pretty serious stuff. The list was just updated, on April 2, 2001.
We pro-lifers focus on the fact that abortionists kill unborn babies, but rarely ask what kind of human would actually commit the act. Scan down the HLI document, and you will find one such example in the pathetic account of a depraved abortionist called Brian Finkel. From an original article/interview in the Phoenix New Times, here are some noteworthy quotes as uttered by Finkel.

"You know, Filipinos have absolutely drop-dead gorgeous chicks. We used to call them LBFM. Little Brown Fucking Machines."
"Got a Tech 9 [gun]. Every gynecologist needs a Tech 9, so I could have more rounds, 'cause they were bringing me more Christians."
"I have this law firm that works for me, I call them the eight gnawing Jews
"I just won't take it. From anybody. Not from the ejaculator that inseminated the cow that birthed me, to any one of these dysfunctional, hate-filled religionists that I'm forced to interact with"
"This is my abortion machine, where I do the Lord'swork. I heal the sick with it."
Finkel calls his machine the "Super Sucker." He and his wife dubbed their first aborted child, "Ernie the Embryo." What's really so tragic is that this despicable human being, this so-called "doctor," is also a father. Would you want to send your daughter to such a man for an abortion? I wonder, amidst the glowing words Finkel has for Filipino women, where is the collective cry of outrage from feminists? Why are they not demanding an apology for such blatant hate speech against women, and racial slurs?
Abortionists not only kill children, they get treated with kid gloves.
Now, about that guy, Byron Looper, the one I mentioned back at the beginning of this article? He was a pro-abortion county property assessor who ran for office against pro-life state Senator Tommy Burks. From the HLI document comes the following: "Looper shot Burks in the left eye with a heavy-caliber pistol near a pumpkin patch where Burks planned to take schoolchildren on a hayride later that day, then boasted to his friends "I did it, man, I did it! I killed that dude!"
This murder of a pro-life Democrat Senator occurred at about the same time abortionist Barnett Slepian was murdered. The media coverage was abysmal. No Special FBI task force, no hunt for co-conspirators. When violence is directed against pro-lifers, the silence is deafening. Outside of local newspapers in Tennessee, and Steve Ertelt's Prolife Infonet, there was virtually no coverage of this horrific murder.
Don't go looking for Gloria Feldt demanding retribution for Burks' death. Don't expect calls for a special investigation by Kate Michelman of NARAL. They won't be crying bitter tears. Nor will the "pro-choice" media sound the alarm for justice.
